Black Diamond Distortion gives you tools to control the shape of your distortion. Capture the shape from real gear, adjust each harmonic precisely, express it as an equation, draw it freehand, or blend curves together.
Top panel
- Menu - global options: init preset, themes, updates, and your account.
- Oversampling - 1× to 16×, with a lock to keep your preferred setting.
- Preset Browser - click the preset title to browse factory and community presets.
- Save Preset - save the current patch to disk.
- Undo / Redo - step backward and forward through your edit history.
Mixer
- Morph Depth - sets how much the Morph dial modulates this channel.
- Morph Dial - the macro that drives Blend, Scan, or Series.
- Morph Mode - switch between Blend, Scan, and Series.
- Channel Slider - each lane’s level (or stage gain in Series mode).
- Channel Label - click to select a channel and open its editor; right-click to rename.
