Hover the Aspen logo in the bottom-left corner to open the menu (the logo’s tooltip also shows the plugin version).
Set Artist Name… stores the name embedded in the metadata of every .tfunc you
save. The first save prompts
for it too; “Don’t Ask Again” suppresses the prompt.
Customize Colors… opens the theme editor - primary and secondary hue, saturation, and the glow on the trace - with a live preview. OK keeps the theme, Reset restores the default.
Check for Updates… compares your version against the latest release and offers a download. Probe only checks when you ask - never automatically.
The window can be resized from its host frame, from 600x400 up to 1600x2000.
Two things persist in different places: your theme, grid strength, and artist name
live in a shared Aspen Instruments preferences file and follow you across sessions and
DAWs, while the control-bar parameters save with your DAW session. A frozen capture is
neither - it lives only in the open window, so
save a .tfunc before closing
if you want to keep it.
